Cross Stitch Rose
i accidently skipped a row in cross stitching!?
i just realised that i skipped a whole row in cross stitching...is it possible i can cover it up without having to redo anything and if i can what is the best way to do it? the cross stitch is a image of a rose.im stressing out enough as it is and i could do with a bit of your help. thanks!
You didn't mention how much you had done before you realised the error so this is a tough one to answer. I would consider the amount of time you spend on stitching the item compared to the amount of time it will take to unpick and re do. If you are stressing out about it now, then you probably won't stop. Best to unpick and redo rather than go on and regret it every time you look at it.
That being said, you can go over it but only if the colour you have done by mistake is lighter than the colour going over it. If the cross stitch is a picture to be framed, when it's stretched (called blocking), the underneath thread can sometimes show.
The other problem that you will have is that the 2 layers of thread will make the mistake lines thicker.
