Good Starter Sewing/Embroidery machine?
Im looking for suggestions on a good starter sewing/ embroidery machine. I am a beginner and could use all the suggestions I can get. Would like one that you can use with a memory card to get embroidery designs online.

Thanks for the reply so far. My budget is very modest. This would be my first machine and I want to make the smallest investment possible! I looked at the Janome and they are WAY to pricey. Brother is a line i have been looking at.
i personally think the brother line is the easiest to use. i've heard good things about the two walmart carries. i have a brother ult2002d, i have used the janome and i wouldn't recommend you buy a janome unless you are very good at self teaching or have a dealer really close by. i'm not saying it isn't a good machine becuase i do think it is an excellent machine, just kinda hard to learn to use. i also used to sell the viking and the pfaff. of those 2 the viking is easier to learn but i still like the brother for ease of use. it does a nice design too. with the brother you can purchase the ped-basic which is alot cheaper than purchasing the digitizing software. you didn't say what your budget is, you can put alot of money into an embroidery machine.
