Why do parents make their kids projects??
This is so annoying to me. This past weekend our children came home from kindergarten with a project to make a scarecrow and it said the parents were to "help". So MY child made her scarecrow with my help and it looks, well, like a kindergartener made a scarecrow with some help. When we went to school today all the other kids were turning in these things that were in no way shape or form made by a child! They were sewn dolls, CARVED wooded scarecrows, and some even looked storebought and I just have to know WHY WHY is it that parents think they have to do the work for their child istead of doing it WITH their child??? Sure the one we made looked like crap, but it's going to be a day full of memories of how we struggled to make that piece of crap and now she gets to go to school and feel inferior because all her friends parents decided to do it themselves and leave the kids out of it??? It's not fair to my kid or theirs!
agh the good old we are better then you family. i cant stand moms like them. just think when you are old and gray you and your child well have those special memories tucked away to share with your grandkids while the other moms can trade liposuction stories or bloomindale stories because they will have nothing else to share. no it is not fair but life isnt about being fair anymore. it has turned into who is better.
